10.20.09- Photoplus Expo 2009- New York City

It's that time of year. Photoplus expo, one of the photography industry's premier events is this week in New York City. It's a show that I've been attending for quite some time, and the past few years I've been fortunate enough to be presenting a seminar along with some of our industry's best. On Friday, October 23rd @ 1:15pm, I'll be presenting "Hot Sun, Cool Images". Basically, I'll discuss and show images relating to my wedding work produced in difficult lighting conditions. As I always like to do, I'll share some of my favorite images and the thought process behind the capture. I hope to see many friends there and would love to meet new peeps, so please stop me to say hello if you read this blog.

I attended this seminar. I am at a loss for words. You are what I aspire to be. I live in Moorestown, NJ, so I am close to Haddonfield. (Sorry I am not fom the far edges of the Earth) I hope I am able to participate in your Spring seminar. I am a single mom, and as I say to my daughter, we have to get enough pennies!:) Thank you again. I hope I can one day I will have a spec of your talent.

Hi Cliff...I, too, was fortunate enough to attend your "Hot Sun, Cool Images" seminar. I was the one who told you that your slideshow brought me to tears with emotion as I watched it. You gave me a hug..which was a special delight!

I loved your presentation and you really hit home with issues I have been struggling with in lighting. I prefer to shoot with available light and I really gained a much better understanding of what I need to do and implemented it already in my shooting ops over the weekend. I live in Bucks County north of Philly and like Kelly...need to gather my pennies to see if I can swing your boot camp in the spring. It would be an awesome learning and life experience to be able to do it, I'm sure.

[New York Hotel]

Great event! My GF booked those cheap last moment flight tickets via Easy click travel thing. I have to tell,the shows were really good and the exhibitions as well. Pity, I missed your performance. It's amazing how many talented people there're doing fascinating work.
