All I can really say about this wedding is how much I appreciated the opportunity to photograph this multi-day event. Indian weddings are colorful, challenging, and incredible. The story, customs, and symbolism are everything. A huge kudos goes out to both the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, and The Crystal Tea Room for providing impeccable service to these folks.
I don't ordinarily post this many images from a wedding, but the storyline demanded I do so. Here are some images from their event, beginning with the Mehandi ceremony followed by the Shaadi, and finally the reception. Special thanks to Susan Stripling for shooting the christian event for me on Saturday the 5th!Comments are always welcomed.

oh man, i was walking by the ceremony when the groom was on the horse at 12/Market! very cool to see it from the other side.

These are phenomenal images! My absolute favorite is the one with the bride's arms crossed over her chest, with only her eyelashes in focus. Absolutely amazing - I feel like that one should win an award:)

Don't you get tired of people sucking up to your work? I sure hope not because I'm going to do the same. This wedding was extraordinary. I am in awe of your lighting techniques. You live so close to me but it's like we are worlds apart when it comes to your images. If I can get half as good as you I'd consider myself really lucky.

All I can say WOW.........
I have seen wedding images.....but nothing compare to what you have taken.
Being Indian I know how colorful our weddings are, and what you have captured is beyond to put in words.
