I've been a bit swamped with shooting, so blogging had to take a back seat! Elizabeth and Michael were married on the famed "7-7-07". There were billions of other weddings in Philly, but I was glad to be at The Rittenhouse Hotel. They treat me like family there and I'm proud to be the preferred photographer there. Here's a few from their day.
Emily wanted to see David for the first time at Eastern State Penitentiary. I arranged for them to meet there and then just let it happen.
The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art is an awesome place for an elegant event. This was the light I saw while ascending the stairwell to the second floor of the building. I felt compelled to put Emily in this amazing light.
Special thanks to Melody Appel at Innove, who introduced me to this couple. Melody designed this cool invitation that was displayed on the place settings.
The decor was designed by Donna at Beautiful Blooms and was perfect for that space.
Marla and Alex had their ceremony outside at the beautiful Philadelphia historical site- The Physick House. followed by their reception that took place at Cescahpe ballroom in Northern Liberties. I began with Marla at The Penn's Landing Hyatt where she got ready and then took her out and around the city for some images of the two of them.
Alex saw Marla for the first time on their day on the water's edge outside of The Penns Landing Hyatt! and then made our way around Old City.
Marla waiting to enter the courtyard to the Physick House moments before her ceremony.
Terrific couple. Deryck is a dentist who served in the military and had just returned from Iraq. We all appreciate your service, Deryck! Glad you're safely home. I'm sure nobody's happier that Colleen! We began at her Ocean City home. It was a sensational day with amazing weather and great harsh light- just the way I like it. After some beach portraits we made our way to the Seaview Marriott in Absecon NJ.
