What a pleasure it is to be a second shooter sometimes. Every now and then, if given the opportunity, I'd love to sit back and observe the way only a second shooter can. When your not required to capture all of the compulsory aspects during a given wedding day, you free your mind's eye up to see differently. I played, experimented, and had fun with my new toy- the amazing Nikon D700 for the first time.
This camera was truly impressive. Lightweight, lightning fast, low noise, wonderfully responsive, solid, and reliable. Sounds kinda like a D3 right?? It's a D3-light if you ask me. This camera will be integrated into my arsenal for sure. I'll give a full review after a few more weeks of using it. I'll need to get to know it in order to talk about it for Nikon at Photoplus East in October. So far, I'm really loving this camera.
In any case, here are a few from my first wedding shot with the D700. Jenni and Simon had their wedding at nuuksio national park
in Helsinki, Finland. The reception was held at restaurant Toolonranta. Here's a few from their day!
